Ingrid Pitt was born as Ingoushka Petrov in Poland
on 21 November, 1937. She was offered the lead in two Hammer movies, Countess
Dracula and The Vampire Lovers, after meeting with the head of Hammer
Studios, James Carreras. She has authored several books including titles
for children. She occasionaly appears at horror conventions and you can
